Forest Edge Farm Welcomes Tara Weaver-Brash!
Tara is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a B. S. in Equine Studies and Riding. Tara’s focus was on hunt seat and dressage, while a four-year member of the J&W Intercollegiate Equestrian Team.
Tara’s teachings are based on the principles of balanced riding and allows new and advanced riders to be able to excel in any discipline of riding. Under some of the best trainers both locally and statewide including Luiz Denizard, Professor Beth Beukema, Kelly Winner, and Greta Heimbold, Tara has established herself in the Equine Community.
Teaching locally for over 15 years, Tara has started many children and adults for both pleasure riding and the show-ring. A local judge for both open and 4-H Shows gives her riders a “leg-up” when starting their riding careers.

Erica Eggert, riding instructor for Forest Edge Farm, has nearly twenty years experience in the equestrian world.
Beginning riding lessons at age three, she began her competitive career at the Devon Horse Show in Lead-Line classes. Erica’s showing career included competing in English Equitation, Children’s Hunter and Pony and Children’s Jumpers.
In addition to competing in local Southern New Jersey horse shows, she has competed in the American Gold Cup Pony Jumpers at Devon, North American League Pony Jumper Finals at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show and the Marshal & Sterling Pony Jumper Finals in Culpepper, Virginia. Erica was an active member of Burlington County 4-H and competed in both county and state horse shows in English Equitation and Hunters.
Erica was awarded Reserve Champion Pony Jumper for Zone 2 by the United States Equestrian Federation (formerly AHSA). She has also enjoyed participating in hunter paces and foxhunts. Erica began her equestrian teaching career in 2000. Her horsemanship educational philosophy is based on safety and understanding her students and the horses they ride.

We take pride in providing a clean and comfortable environment with professional quality lessons and boarding/training.
We offer top knotch facilities that include an indoor arena with climate controlled lounge, wash rack and tack room. We also offer an outdoor arena with jumps.
As a full service facility, we offer summer camp and host a variety of mounted clinics
